Protecting critical infrastructure requires the right fencing solution. For this project, Otter Fencing installed a custom 2.4-metre high 358 Weldmesh high-security compound for a mobile tower installation.
The compound was constructed using 358 Welded Mesh panels made from zalcote wire, an anti-climb high-security fencing system. The 2.4-metre height provides an effective physical barrier for sensitive infrastructure and restricts unauthorised access.
The fence was finished with a 3-strand barbed wire top for extra height and deterrence. For a cleaner look, the 358 welded mesh panels, posts, rails and gates were all powder coated black by Supacote.
The project also included a lockable 3-metre wide double access gate, allowing authorised vehicle and maintenance access while maintaining the security of the compound.
358 Weldmesh high-security compounds are commonly used to protect mobile towers, utilities, substations, industrial facilities and other critical infrastructure where reliable, long-term perimeter security is essential.
Otter Fencing builds Australian-made security compounds and high-security fencing systems for demanding sites.
