Otter Fencing has supplied and installed a custom black PVC-coated chain-link infill screen in the basement car park at the new Cobblebank Community Hub, working alongside builder Kane Constructions.
The screen measures 5000mm wide x 2100mm high and spans wall to wall between the concrete columns, closing off the opening while keeping the space open, light and visible.
The frame was built from 32NB pipe powder coated black, fixed to the slab with baseplates, and infilled with 32mm pitch x 2.50mm black PVC chain-link fabric. A mid-height tension wire keeps the fabric tight and flat across the full span.
With ductwork, pipes and cable trays running directly above, the top rail was stepped down and offset around the services, so the screen sits neatly under the overhead plant without any clashes.
Prepped in our Dandenong South workshop and installed on site, the finished screen is a clean, durable and low-maintenance fit for a busy commercial car park.
