Box Hill City Oval Multi-Purpose Sporting Fencing Project

Box Hill City Oval Multi-Purpose Sporting Fencing Project

As part of upgrades at Box Hill City Oval, Otter Fencing delivered a range of custom fencing solutions designed to improve the facility for cricket, football and general sporting use throughout the year.

A major part of the project was the construction of a nine-bay cricket training facility, incorporating both turf and synthetic practice wickets. The enclosure was constructed using heavy-duty twin posts and fusion bonded chain-link fabric, providing a strong and durable solution for ongoing community and club use.

One of the key features of the facility is the removable front panel system. During cricket season, the front panels can be removed to open the training nets, then reinstalled for the football season. This allows the same area to be easily adapted for multiple sports throughout the year.

The project also included 900mm high fusion bonded chain-link perimeter fencing around the oval, creating a durable boundary while maintaining clear visibility across the ground.

To complete the project, Otter Fencing manufactured and installed custom 2700mm high spear top double entry gates, providing secure access while complementing the overall appearance of the facility.

From cricket training facilities and sporting enclosures to perimeter fencing and custom gates, Otter Fencing manufactures and installs purpose-built steel fencing solutions for sporting clubs, councils and community facilities across Australia.
