A new Fuel Cell Protection Cage has been completed at the Deakin University Burwood Campus, providing secure access control and protection for critical infrastructure.
The enclosure measures 3.3m x 6.0m and was constructed using 20 lineal metres of 2400mm high chain-link fencing, finished with powder-coated top and bottom rails to achieve an overall height of 2600mm.
The project included 50NB end and gate posts, 40NB intermediate posts, all fitted with 150mm diameter three-hole baseplates for secure mounting. Two lockable pedestrian gates, each measuring 1000mm wide x 2100mm high, were installed at either end of the enclosure to provide safe and convenient access.
