Otter Fencing has supplied and installed approximately 350 linear metres of black chain-link perimeter fencing at the new North Bellarine Aquatic Centre in Ocean Grove, working alongside builder Kane Constructions.
The 2500mm high fence was built to the engineer's design using black fusion-bonded chain-link fabric on 80NB medium-grade pipe posts. Concrete footings 450mm diameter x 2100mm deep the fence will stand up to the exposed coastal conditions.
40NB top and bottom rails were clamped to the posts with Vader's proprietary X4080 and T4080 fittings, with all pipe powder coated satin black for a clean, uniform finish around the outdoor pools and lawns.
For privacy and wind protection, the fence carries a 1700mm high, 90% density shade cloth cover with reinforced selvedges and brass eyelets, secured to the top cable wire and bottom rail.
The project also included three 1200mm wide single gates and three 3600mm wide double gates to match, all suitable for padlocking, plus a chain-link enclosure to secure the centre's plant equipment.
