As part of ongoing upgrades at La Trobe Sports Park, the home of Australia's Matildas, Otter Fencing was engaged by Football Victoria to deliver a range of fencing modifications and new security infrastructure to support the facility's day-to-day operations.
The project included the construction of a 91-metre, 3000mm high black PVC chain-link compound to provide a secure storage area for pitch maintenance machinery. Two 4000mm wide double vehicle gates were installed, allowing easy access for maintenance equipment while maintaining site security.
To accommodate the new layout, the team also modified sections of the existing perimeter fencing, relocated gates between pitches, installed a new access gate into the existing pitch fencing, and reused existing materials wherever practical to minimise waste.
Built using heavy-duty black PVC chain-link fencing with top and bottom rails, the finished installation matches the surrounding sporting facilities and meets the durability and security standards expected at this level.
Otter Fencing has delivered Australian-made fencing for sporting organisations from local clubs to Football Victoria.
